This is the first step on your path to joining the fastest growing industry in the U.S. The assessment is divided into three sections with multiple choice answers:
You can choose which section of the assessment you want to start with. Once you begin a section, you must finish it--you cannot save progress and return later to finish. If you are short on time, just complete one section of the assessment, and return later to complete another section. Expect the logic and critical thinking and soft skills sections of the test to take approximately 30 minutes each. The math section is longer, so allocate 1.5-2.5 hours. You must complete all three sections of the test within 10 days of beginning a section of the assessment. You will be given the option to re-take the test if you do not achieve the passing score of 80 or above. You must take all three sections of the test each time.
While the assessment is not proctored, you must complete it on your own without any assistance or support resources. However, you may use a calculator for the math section.
Before you begin the assessment, we provide links to materials that will help you prepare for the type of questions you will need to answer. We highly recommend you review these resources before you begin.
After you take the assessment, you will receive an email showing your score in the three assessment areas. Apprenti’s program is based on employer demand, so we will invite applicants with passing scores to interview based on when they took the test and when companies have jobs ready to fill.
If you didn’t pass the assessment with a score of 80 or above, you can study and retake it. You can take the assessment up to four times, although there is a 90-day waiting period after the second attempt.
